  CHARLES J. TROUT, SR.
  
  Charles J. Sr., 78, Boswell RD 2, died Dec. 17, 1979, at Somerset Community
  Hospital.  He was born April 2, 1901, in Casselman, Pa., son of Charles and
  Etta (Lape) Trout.  He was preceded in death by parents; stepfather, William
  Putman; and two brothers, William and Clarence Trout.  He is survived by
  widow, former Grace Tressler, and these children: Etta, wife of Milton
  Sarver, Pittsburgh; Edward, married to former Ruby Greene, Hephzibah, Ga.;
  Mary, wife of Elwood Bowman, and Roy, married to former Gloria Di
  Valentine, both of Boswell RD 2; Mildred, wife of Catalia Solis, Astatula,
  Fla.; Ilene, wife of Homer Altmiller, Warminster, Pa.; and Charles Jr.,
  married to former Nancy Mussinger, and Robert, married to former Lillian
  Weyandt, both of Hatboro, Pa.; also 27 grandchildren and 19
  great-grandchildren.  Half-brother of Mrs. Herbert Short, Meyersdale; Robert
  Putman, Listie; Albert and Ralston Putman, both of Casselman; and Mrs.
  Florence Peters, Rockwood. Attended Jenner Grace Brethren Church.  Member of
  UMWA and Jenner Rod & Gun Club.  Celebrated 59th wedding anniversary March
  19, 1979.  Friends were received at Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home, 909 Main
  St., Boswell, where services were held with the Revs. Max DeArmey and Lloyd
  A. McCollum.  Interment, Jenner Crossroad Cemetery.
