Trout, 75, of Friedens formerly of Rockwood and Berlin, passed on Sept. 8, 2002. Born Feb. 9, 1927 in Casselman. Son of Clarence and Ethel (Nedrow) Trout. Preceded in death by parents, brother Glenn Trout and sisters Orpha Digruttolo and Reda Handwerk. He is survived by his wife Betty Jane (Dickey) Trout, sons Donald Trout of Rockwood, Robert, married to Barbara, Trout of Rockwood and Clarence, and Paula, Trout of Quecreek. Ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also survived by his sister Winifred Shockey of West Virginia and nephew Larry, and Ginny, Pritts and family. He was a retired truck driver and veteran of the US Merchant. Marine in World War 11. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Rev. Sherman Berkey officiating.
