  Alice Marie (Close) Troy, 64, of 126 W. Church St., Somerset, died Jan. 11,
  1996, in Somerset Hospital.  Born Feb. 13, 1931, in Westmoreland County, Pa.
  Daughter of the late Harry C. and Elda (Knupp) Close.  Also preceded in
  death by husband Eugene C. in 1992; and brothers Robert Close of Somerset
  and Thomas Close of Confluence.  Survived by two daughters: Sheree, wife of
  Douglas Blubaugh, Berlin: and Jill Ann May, Somerset. Two grandsons, Aaron
  Blubaugh and Eric May.  Sister of Sarah Zarycki, Akron, Ohio; Wayne Close,
  Somerset RD 3; and Merle Reese, Somerset.  Friends will be received from 7
  to 9 p.m. today, Saturday, and 3:30 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the
  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted Monday at
  11 a.m. Pastor Melvin A. Kirk officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.  In
  lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Somerset In Touch Hospice or
  the American Red Cross.
