Truscott, 67, 602 Allegheny St., Boswell, died Aug. 13, 1995, at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born Jan. 24, 1928, in South Fork, son of John and Rachel (Hale) Truscott. Preceded in death by parents; one sister, Elnora, and two brothers, John "Jack" and Fred. Survived by wife, the former Carmella DeLuca; son, Fred, married to Diane Kelly, Johnstown; and three grandchildren: Jared, Jason and Robyn Truscott. Brother of Helen, widow of William Mills, Jenners; James Sr. "Cecil." married to Vera Donahue, Boswell, and Shirley, widow of George Grove, Lorain, Ohio. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish, Jenner Rod and Gun Club, Boswell Post 461, American Legion; Somerset County Old-Timers Baseball Association and USWA Steelworkers Union. Retired employee of the former Johnstown Plant, Bethlehem Steel Corp. Army veteran of World War II. Observed 45th wedding anniversary on March 19, 1995. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where wake service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Father Blase Wegierski, O.F.M. Conv. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Church, Boswell, the Rev. Father Harold N. Biller, celebrant. Interment, Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
