(Jack) Truscott, 65, of Jenners, died June 3, 1976 at Windber Hospital and Wheeling Clinic. Born Nov. 25, 1910 in South Fork, son of John H. and Rachel Hale Truscott. Preceded in death by parents, brother Frederick, killed in World War II, and sister Eleanora. Survived by widow, the former Magaret Wagstaff; and these children: John W. Jr., married to the former Martha Cabe, Hyatsville, Md.; Daniel C., married to the former Mary Sheeler, and Susan, wife of Westley Berkebile, both of Boswell RD 2; and eight grandchildren. Brother of Helen, widow of William Mills, Jenners; James, married to the former Vera Donahue; Fosten, married to Cannella DeLuca, both of Boswell; and, Shirley, wife of George Grove, Lorrain, Ohio. Member of Covenant Presbyterian Church and Sunday School, Boswell, where he was a church elder, member of Jenner Rod and Gun Club, retired employe of Boswell Service Station, where he worked for 22 years. Friends received from 2-9 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday at the Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell. Funeral service 1 p.m. Monday at the Covenant Presbyterian Church, Boswell. Rev. Carl R. Hull officiating. Interment, South Fork Cemetery. Somerset American, June 4, 1976 [T666]
