  TUCKER
  
  Jay D. Tucker, 69, of Garrett, died Jan. 29, 2003 in Brothersvalley
  Township.  Born March 11, 1933 in Garrett a son of the late John and Fern
  (Sterner) Tucker Jr.  Also preceded in death by his stepfather, Homer E.
  Bush and a brother, Edwin Tucker.  Survived by his wife the former, Beverly
  Pritts and two children: Jon C. "Chuck" Tucker, at home and Rick Tucker,
  married to the former Sue Smith, Freedom.  Also two grandchildren, Justin
  and Krista Tucker.  A member of the United Church of Christ in Garrett.
  Retired from L.T.V. Steel as a general foreman.  Jay and his wife Beverly
  owned and operated the Garrett Country Store for eight years.  Friends will
  be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Price Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale, where a service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday with the
  Rev. Ken Davis officiating.  Interment Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
