(Furman) Mary A. (Furman) Tulenko, 88, Fifth Street, Acosta, died Dec. 28, 2006, at home. Born Aug. 15, 1918, in Acosta, daughter of George and Anna (Kaminski) Furman. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 50 years, Michael Tulenko Jr. on Nov. 5, 1991; sisters, Anna Furman and Katheryn Bazyk; and brothers, Frank, Andrew and John. Survived by son, Thomas, married to Julianna Lisbon, Latrobe; daughter, Teresa, married to Ray Ash, Acosta; grandchildren, Frank Chronowski and wife Donna of Jeannette; Sean Tulenko and wife Mary Beth of Ellicott City, Md; Matthew Tulenko and wife Jeanna, Florida; and Michael Tulenko and wife, Rebecca, Ligonier; great-grandchildren, Josh, Mike and Zachary Chronowski; Kate, Brianna, Jade, Lily, Michael, Toby and Hank Tulenko; sisters, Helen, widow of Stanley Bodziak and Rose, widow of Nick Tulenko, both of Latrobe; sisters- in- law, Gladys Furman and Mary Gavel, both of Acosta; Anna Zadzora and Marjorie Dipre, both of Ohio; and brother-in-law, Joseph Tulenko, Mechanicsburg. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish, had been active in the former St. John's Catholic Church, now All Saints Chapel, where she was in charge of the altar cloths and flowers and was a member of the choir. Retired waitress from the former Ratsy's Restaurant, Somerset, with 18 years service. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hoffman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Main Street, Boswell, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Deacon Jay Pyle officiating. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Saturday at All Saints Chapel, Acosta, the Rev. Father Michael Lewandowski OFM Conv., celebrant. Committal St. Joseph Cemetery, Ralphton. Daily American, December 29, 2006
