Tunstall, Sr., 91, East Main St., Somerset, died July 18, 1995, at Somerset Hospital. Born Aug. 20, 1903, in Punxsutawney, son of the late William, and Anna (Ritz) Tunstall. Preceded in death by brothers: William, Albert, James, Ray, Clarence, a sister, Margaret Sager, infant brother, Robert, infant sister, Ethel. Survived by his wife Elsie (Lohr) Tunstall, and these children: Charles Jr., married to the former Irene Evey of Phillipsburg, N.J., Melvin, married to the former Ethel Shaulis of Somerset, and daughters: Arlene, wife of Henry Fieg, Stoystown, Elsie, wife of Ron Hunter, Berlin RD 1, Linda, wife of Barry Henderson, of Bolivar, Rose Mary, wife of Douglas Griffith of Somerset, and Debbie, wife of Donald Griffith of Somerset, and two brothers: Clyde of Confluence, Harry E. Tunstall Sr. of Somerset RD 2; and sister, Miss Beryl Tunstall of Somerset, 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. Retired coal miner, and retired from Herring Motors. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where service will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Friday. Rev. Keith Bell and Rev. Marty R. Critchfield officiating.
