Turcato, 92, Old Park Rd., Windber, died July 18, 2006 at Regional Hospice Windber. Born June 12, 1914 in Windber daughter of the late Carmine and Laura (Bucci) DiGiulio. Also preceded in death by husband David in 1960, brothers Ralph, Nick, Tony, and Albert, and sisters, Sue Altomare, Gilda Lesko and granddaughter, Mary Turcato. Survived by these children: Mary Louise Gallagher, Altanta; Leonard, married to the former Carol Strapple, Loretta, wife of David Blough and David married to the former Christine Mahler, all of Windber. Also grandchildren; Lisa, Jacqui, Shawn, David, Christopher, Reine, and Paul, and great-grand-children Cal, Jacob, Sims, and Luke. Sister of Anne Alesandrini, Cleveland; and sister-in-law of Thressa DiGiulio, Connie and Lillian Turcato, all of Windber. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was retired from the cafeteria department of WAHS. Member of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic church, Windber where she was past president of the Secular Francisans and a Eucharistic minister. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic church, Windber. Committal church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber where vigil for the deceased will be held. Memorial contribution may be directed toward Regional Hospice at Windber or Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber. Daily American, July 19, 2006
