Turner, 81, of Star Route, Frostburg, Md., died Dec. 28, 1980 in Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md., following a lengthly illness. He was born in Frostburg and was a son of the late George C. Turner and Maude E. (Pope) Turner. He was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Woodmen of the World Camp 41, Grantsville, Md., and was a Golden Age Eagle with Aerie 295 Fraternal Order of Eagles, Cumberland. He is survived by his widow, Edith (McDonald) Turner. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home. Services were conducted in the funeral home by the Rev. Earl Harper and Mrs. Sadie Triplett.
