ALVIN C. TURNEY

  Alvin C. Turney, 51, of Pine Hill, died at his home Tuesday night, Feb. 16, 
after several months illness.  He was the son of Frank and Susan Fox Turney and 
was born at Accident, Maryland.  He lived in Brothersvalley Township for thirty-
three years and was a well-known businessman.  
  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lena Stahl Turney, two daughters, Lucille 
Turney, Philadelphia, and Eleanor, at home.  Also a sister and five brothers, 
Mrs. Stanley Wolf, Orlando, Florida, and Ray and Webster Turney, Accident, 
Maryland; Harry M., Puyallys, Washington; Gilmer, Lanham, Maryland; Glenn, 
Westover, Maryland.
