  DOROTHY E. TURNEY
  
  Dorothy E. Turney, 70, of Somerset, died Jan. 20, 2004, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born June 9, 1933, in Lincoln Township, she is the daughter of
  the late Clark J. and Mary (Benbenek) Brougher.  Survived by her husband,
  Playford L. Turney; sisters, Edna Brougher of Jerome, Betty Tressler of
  Jennerstown, Marie Beistel of Somerset and brother, Edward "Bud" Brougher
  of Jennerstown.  Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews and
  grandnieces and grandnephews.  Member of Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church,
  Trinity Chapter 138 O.E.S. and a 1951 graduate of Somerset High School.
  Formerly employed in the meat department of the Somerset Acme store.
  Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Robert H.
  Halverson Funeral Home.  Service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the
  Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church with Rev. Dennis Doebler officiating.
  Interment in Casebeer Cemetery.  There will also be viewing at the church
  from noon until time of service.  Contributions may be made to Christ
  Casebeer Lutheran Church, 10377 Somerset Pike, Somerset, Pa. Trinity
  Chapter 138 O.E.S. will hold a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in
  the funeral home.
