  EDITH C.TURNEY 
  
  Edith C. Turney, 52, Confluence, died May. 16, 1981, in Windber Hospital.
  She was born July 14, 1928, in Lonaconing, Md., daughter of Howard and
  Annie (Whiteman) Bittinger.  Besides her mother of Confluence, she is
  survived by her husband, and these children: Howard Lancaster, Confluence;
  Charles Lancaster, Confluence; Paul Lancaster, Dallas, Texas; Linda
  Randall, Fort Hill; John Jr., Sara Mae, Chrystal Lyn, and Jason S., all at
  home; one brother, Lee Bittinger; Confluence; one sister, Patsy Bittinger,
  Sevillisille, Md.  Friends were received at the Humbert Funeral Home,
  Confluence, where services were held with the Rev. Robert Deanglo
  officiating.  Interment, Confluence Baptist Cemetery.
