  TURNEY
  
  Ellen Lavern Turney, 73, of Addison, died Aug. 7, 2003 at Memorial
  Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  Born Aug. 31, 1929 in Rockwood, daughter of the
  late Carl Everett and Carrie M. (Camp) Miller.  Survived by husband John W.
  Turney; daughters Linda Watson and her husband Elwood, Addison, and Rebecca
  Knisely and her husband William H. III, West Finley; granddaughters Kara
  Fluharty, Point Marion, and Brandi Knisely, West Finley; great-grandsons
  Daniel Fluharty and Damien Dague; also sisters Margaret Griffith,
  Confluence, Pauline Georg and Dortha Bowser, both of Accident, Md., Mary
  Aronhalt, Cumberland, Md., and Anna Carol Wengerd, Murango, Iowa; brothers
  Wilmer C. Miller, Accident, Md., and Paul Miller, Grantsville, Md.  She
  attended Wharton-Furnace Church, Elliottsville.  A private viewing will be
  held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Humbert Funeral Home,
  Confluence, where a private service for the family will be held Saturday,
  the Rev. Michael Musser officiating.  Interment to follow in Addison
  Cemetery.
