Turney, 76, Markleton RD 1, died Jan. 11, 1989, at home. Born July 3, 1912, in Addison Township, a son of the late John W. and Emma K. (Davis) Turney. Surviving are his wife, Etta Grace (Nicklow) Turney; two daughters: Mrs. Larry (Patsy) Pletcher, Rockwood; and Mrs. John (Brenda) Zoscak, Woodbridge, Va.; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a brother, Lawrence R., Markleton; and two sisters; Ruth Sechler, Confluence; and Nina Heil, Markleton. Preceded in death by sister, Grace, and brother, Chalmer. Member of Kingwood Grange and attended the Kingwood Church of God. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services will be held Sunday, 1:30 p.m., with the Rev.
