  TURNEY
  
  Mrs. Mary E. Turney, 45, of Somerset RD 1, died Sept. 27, 1974 in her
  residence.  She was born Jan. 30, 1929, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the
  later John U. and Sarah Jane (O'Neill) Dryer.  Preceded in death by her
  parents: a son, Paul; two sisters and one brother.  Survived by her husband,
  Paul E.: one daughter, Mrs. Patricia J. Rock, Somerset RD 6; two
  grandchildren. Was a sister of: Mrs. Phyllis Opferman, Mrs. Erma Stains,
  Mrs. Jane Bingler, Mrs. Dorothy Whitehead and Mrs. Catherine Dryer, all of
  Pittsburgh: Mrs. Iris Boston of Illinois: John H. Dryer, Van Voorhis, Pa.:
  Mrs. Ida Chase of New Jersey.  She was a member of Somerset Fire Department
  Auxiliary, Somerset County and Western Pennsylvania Firemen's auxiliaries.
  Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Saturday at the Wilbur D. Miller
  Funeral Home, where services will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m., the Rev.
  Paul R. White officiating.  Interment, Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant
  Hills, Pittsburgh.  In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to the Easter
  Seal Society.
