NORMAN ANDREW TURNEY

  Norman Andrew Turney died Feb. 2, 1946, at the age of 75 years and 24 days.  
Born Jan. 8, 1871, he was the oldest of eleven children of Jonas and Susanna 
(Shumaker) Turney, of whom three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
  He is survived by these sisters: Mrs. Minnie B. Smith, Grantsville, Md.; Mrs. 
Venie M. Wess, Wheeling, W.Va.; Mrs. George J. Durst, Fort Hill, Pa.; and Mrs. 
Matilda B. Miller and Miss Savannah S. Turney, Meyersdale, and by 30 nieces and 
nephews.
  He was a member of the Church of the Brethren for 25 years.  His pastor, Rev. 
A. J. Replogle, conducted the funeral services, with interment in St. Paul 
Cemetery.
