LAWRENCE TURNEY Olive Turney, 66, of Markleton RD 1, died Oct. 3, 1972, in Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born Feb. 2, 1906, in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, she was a daughter of Silas and Dora Nicholson, Dwire. Surviving are her husband, Lawrence Turney; one son, Elwood O., Confluence; six grandchildren; four brothers, Lloyd Dwire, Rockwood; Harry and Frank, Markleton RD 1; and Jack of Vandergrift RD 4; and four sisters, Mrs. Esther Patton Warren, Ohio; Mrs. Ida Marker, Markleton RD 1: Mrs. Leona Garletts and Mrs. Stella Houpt, both of Rockwood RD 1. She was a member of Kingwood Queen Victoria Rebekah Lodge 575 and Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Friends are being received at William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, where funeral service will be conducted Friday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Elias A. Kessler and the Rev. G. Edward Kelly officiating. Interment in Kingwood IOOF Cemetery.
