  TUSCANO
  
  Carmela Tuscano, 101, of Meyersdale, died Aug. 30, 1993, at Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  Born April 27, 1892, in Messina, Italy.  A daughter of
  the late Luca and Antonia (Grimaldi) Trombo.  Also preceded in death by
  husband, James Tuscano; two sons: Louis and Patsy, and two daughters:
  Jacqueline and Pearl Harding.  Survived by three daughters: Pauline Herring,
  Meyersdale; Josephine Keelan, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Angie Giglicllo,
  Staten Island, N.Y.  Also 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.  A
  sister of Anthony Trombo, Falls Church, Va., and John Trombo, Messina,
  Italy.  Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7
  to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale.  Mass of
  Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday at SS. Philip and James Catholic
  Church, Meyersdale, with the Rev. James F. Bunn officiating.  Interment,
  church cemetery.  Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral
  home.
