TUSSING, Mary Barbara

Mary Barbara Tussing, 82, Confluence, died Nov. 14, 2007, at her home. Born Feb. 
28, 1925, in Confluence, a daughter, Lawrence and Thelma (Brackemeyer) Kurtz. 
Preceded in death by parents; husband, Wilbur Hooker Tussing; daughter, Nancy 
Tussing; and sister, Blanche Hildreth. Survived by daughters, Susan Gordon, 
Waynesboro; and Mary Tussing, Lovettsville, Va.; two grandchildren; and a 
sister, Martha Ringer, Solvang, Calif. Mrs. Tussing was a retired school 
teacher, a member of Confluence United Methodist Church and Methodist Women, and 
the Turkeyfoot Valley Historical Society. Graduated from Confluence High School 
and Grove City College. No viewing or visitation. Friends are invited to a 
memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Confluence United Methodist Church. 
The Rev. Linda Dinger officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent 
to the Turkeyfoot Lending Library, 711 Logan Place, Confluence, PA 15424.
