Tuttle, 72, of 2062 Listonburg Road, Confluence, died Dec. 20, 1999, at Uniontown Hospital. Born Oct. 28, 1927, in Large, a son of the late William M. and Hilda (Evans) Tuttle. Survived by wife, Dorothy M. (Hartlein) Tuttle, and these children: Lori Miller and husband Stephen, and Cynthia Hinzy and husband Jackie, all of Confluence; Frederick Lane and wife Rita, and Elizabeth Ferri and husband Jeff, all of Simpsonville, S.C.; Edward Lane and wife Susan, Bethel Park; William Lane of West Mifflin; Gary Tuttle and wife Teresa, Washington, and Linda Tuttle, Glassport; 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a brother, Raymond Tuttle, Port Vue. U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Former Clairton resident. Retired from U.S. Steel Clairton Works after 32 years employment. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday (today) at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Ronald Thomas officiating.
