Twombly, 59, 714 Meadow St., Berlin, died March 15, 1990, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Sept. 1, 1930, in Addison Township, son of William C. and Gertrude (Henry) Twombly. Preceded in death by parents; brothers: Lester, William, Clifford, Delbert, Melvin and Russel. Survived by his wife of 37 years, the former Audrey Keefer, and these children: Mrs. Daniel (Nancy) Weighley Jr., Berlin: Joyce, Somerset; Scott, married to the former Ronda Bowman, Meyersdale RD 4, and Derron, at home; five grandchildren. Brother of Warren, Addison; Marion Ringler, West Salisbury; Faye Jean Romesburg, Youngstown, Ohio, and Melva Wildeman, Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a former employee of Croner Coal Co. Member of Trinity U.C.C. of Berlin, and Meyersdale Lodge 554, F. & A.M. Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. Carl W. Schwarm officiating. Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Masonic services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity U.CC. or the American Heart Association.
