Born June 14, 1906, in Somerset, daughter of the late Attorney Charles F. Uhl Jr. and Leah (Krebs) Uhl. She is survived by a brother, Attorney Simon K. Uhl, a sister, Ann Allison (Uhl) Kelley, and a cousin, Katharine (Uhl) Snyder, all of Somerset. Miss Uhl, who traveled extensively, lived most of her life in New York City, moving to Chestnut Hill several years ago. She attended the Baldwin School in Bryn Mawr, Pa.; and the Grand Veger School, Lausanne, Switzerland. Graveside services under the direction of the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home will be held Monday, June 6 at 11 a.m. in the Union Cemetery, with the Rev. Robert Mitchell, vicar of St. Francis-in-the-Fields, officiating. Daily American, June 1, 1983 [U0007]
