  Madge Boden Uhl, 97, of Somerset, died Aug. 31, 2003 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Dec. 30, 1905 in Williamsport, a daughter of William
  Henry and Nora (Wagner) Boden.  Preceded in death by parents,
  husband, Simon Krebs Uhl, who died Oct. 20, 1999, two brothers,
  William Paul Boden and Ralph Henry Boden, two sisters, Ruth Margaret
  Boden and Helen Louise Boden.  Survived by daughter, Mrs. Frederick
  J. (Madge Ann) Carlson of Cupertino, Calif.; three grandchildren,
  Mrs. Harry (Kimberly) Woloson of Laguna Beach, Calif., Mrs. Timothy
  (Tracy) Flynn of Danville, Calif., Richard Scott Lee of Laguna Beach,
  Calif.; five great-grandchildren, Kristin Miracle, Hunter, Samuel and
  Kelly Flynn, Travis Woloson.  Member of Trinity Lutheran Church,
  Laurel Arts, and past president of Somerset Welfare League.  She
  received a BA degree from Indiana University of Pa. and MA from
  Northwestern University.  She was a school teacher for Johnstown
  schools, retiring in 1957.  No viewing or visitation.  Service will
  be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset. 
  The Rev. Robert L. Hoover, Jr., Sr. pastor and Rev. Susan H. Yatta,
  pastor officiating.  Private interment Union Cemetery, Somerset. 
  Contributions may be made to Laurel Arts, 214 S. Harrison Ave.,
  Somerset, Pa. 15501 or Children's Aid Home of Somerset County, 1476 N
  Center Ave., Somerset Pa. 15501.  Arrangements by Hauger-Zeigler
