Her husband passed away in January, 1906. Although Mrs. Uhl had been bedfast for the last year, her condition did not become serious until last week. She was born at Stoyestown and had been a resident of Somerset for more than 50 years. Surviving are two children, Robert S. Uhl, at home, and Mrs. Charles E. Young, of Johnstown. Surviving sisters are Mrs. Florence Herr and Miss Fannie Snyder, of Somerset, and Mrs. George Hirleman of Waverly, Ia. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Uhl residence by Rev. J. F. Messenger, pastor of the Somerset Christian Church. Interment in the Husband Cemetery, in charge of Undertaker Walter S. Hoffman. Meyersdale Republican, February 26, 1931
