Born Feb. 22, 1903, in Somerset, son of Charles Franklin and Leah Catherine (Krebs) Uhl. Preceded in death by parents and sister Henrietta Allison Uhl. Survived by wife, the former Madge Elizabeth Boden, to whom he was married 44 years; daughter Ann Lee Carlson of Cupertino, Calif.; three grandchildren: Mrs. Kimberly Woloson of Laguna Beach, Calif., Mrs. Tracy Flynn of Danville, Calif., and Richard Scott Lee of Laguna Beach, Calif.; and five great-grandchildren: Kristin Miracle, Hunter Flynn, Samuel Flynn, Travis Woloson and Kelly Flynn. Brother of Allison Uhl Kelley, wife of Albert Case Kelley, of Somerset. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Commander with U.S. Navy during World War II. Graduate of Tome School, Port Deposit, Md.; 1926 graduate of Princeton University. Received LLB from University of Pittsburgh Law School and practiced in Somerset from 1935-1998. Past president of Somerset Tuberculosis Society from 1936-1941. Member since 1948 and past president of Somerset Rotary Club. Past president of Somerset State Hospital from 1972-1980. Board of directors of Somerset Trust Co. from 1948-1988 and Member Emeritus from 1988-1999. Chairman of Somerset Democratic Committee from 1948-1963. Member and chairman of PA State Milk Control Commission from 1948-1963. Delegate to Democratic National Convention from 1952-1960. Member of Princeton Club of New York and Lodge #358 F&AM. Life member of Western PA Conservancy. No viewing or visitation. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset, with the Rev. Robert L.
