  Mrs. Elsie Ruth Umble, 87, Walkersville, Md., formerly of Confluence, died
  March 21, 2005, at the Glade Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in
  Walkersville. Born Dec. 10, 1917, she is the daughter of the late Earl and
  Jennie (Osler) Tressler. Also preceded in death by her husband, James M. Umble;
  five sisters: Bertha LaPorte, Ethel Stahl, Ada Mae Hillard, Virginia Tressler
  and Margaret Tressler; three brothers: William Tressler, Harry Lee Tressler and
  Earl Tressler Jr. Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Wanda U. and Karl F.
  Heurich, Walkersville, Md.; two grandchildren, Charles Heurich and wife, Marti,
  Frederick, Md.; and Barbara Pierce and husband Will, Middletown, Md.; six
  great-grandchildren: Brittany Pierce, Andrew Pierce, Hillary Pierce and Emilee
  Pierce, Dulany Heurich and Corinee Heurich; two brothers, Roy Paul Tressler and
  wife, Jane, Somerset; James Tressler and wife, Vera, Confluence; two
  sisters-in-law, Leona Tressler, Somerset, and Fern Tressler, Rockwood, as well
  as several nieces and nephews. Elsie was a homemaker all her life. Service and
  committal will be conducted at Newman Funeral Homes P.A., 179 Miller St.,
  Grantsville, Md. Interment will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Addison Cemetery,
  Addison. The Rev. David Fetter officiating. Condolences may be sent to the
