He was in his sixty-ninth year and was a man of genial disposition, honest and industrious, and leaves many friends, besides his wife and six children, to mourn him. He had been employed at the Two Lick Mills and, from respect to him, the mill was closed and the men attended his funeral in a body. Additional Comments: Lewis and his wife had a total of nine children, two (Elmer McClelland and Urias) died in childhood and a third, Henry L. was killed in the Civil War at Cedar Creek, Virginia.
