Her death was the result of paralysis. She was aged 68 years, 11 months and 6 days. Her funeral occurred the following Thursday, the interment being in Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. Lewis Hay conducted the services. Mrs. Umburn was born in Somerset County. Her maiden name was Susanne Ripple, and she was the youngest of 15 children. She had lived at Two Lick for more than 20 years. Six children, three boys and three girls survive her. Additional Comments: Susanne and her husband had a total of nine children, two (Elmer McClelland and Urias) died in childhood and a third, Henry L. was killed in the Civil War at Cedar Creek, Virginia.
