  UNDERWOOD
  
  Roy McKenna Underwood, 60, West Race Street, Somerset, died April 12,
  1977, in his home.  He was born Sept. 18, 1916, in Pittsburgh, a son
  of the late Fred P. and Jean (Martin) Underwood.  Preceded in death
  by his parents, an infant son and two brothers, Tom and Joseph.  He
  is survived by his wife, Jennie, one daughter, Darby Jean Twesten,
  Golden Valley, Minn.; one son, Samuel Hays, East Lansing, Mich.; two
  step-sons, Lester and Albert Burnell, both of Somerset; five
  grandchildren and one brother, James M. Underwood, Latrobe.  Viewing
  at the convenience of the family.  Friends received 7 to 9 p.m.
  Thursday in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where service will be
  conducted Friday 10:30 a.m. with Rev. J. Wesley Spahn officiating. 
  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
