    Nicholas Zane "Nick" Updegraff, 17, of 309 6th St., Windber died
  May 13, 1999, at home.  Born July 6, 1981, in Johnstown son of Harold
  and Roxanne (Custer) Updegraff.  Preceded in death by infant brother
  Matthew and paternal grandparents, Carl and Rose Updegraff.  Survived
  by parents and brother Nathan Zachary, at home, and sister Zoe, wife
  of Michael Horvath, and nephew David Matthew Horvath, Windber.  Also
  maternal grandparents, Clarence R. "Doc" Custer, Windber, and Lucille
  Stultz, Newport News, Va.  The family will receive friends from 7 to 9
  p.m. Sunday at The Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Inc., Windber.  Funeral
  service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Assembly of God, 12th
  St. and Somerset Ave., Windber.  The Rev. David McGee, pastor, will
  officiate.  Interment, Richland Cemetery.
