  Margaret L. (Blough) UPDYKE
  
  Margaret L. (Blough) Updyke, 80, formerly of Camoset Village, Somerset Pike, and 
  Thomas Mills, died May 23, 2006, at The Patriot. Born Jan. 20, 1926, in 
  Conemaugh Township, daughter of  Stephen and Effie (Sala) Blough. Preceded in 
  death by parents; husband of 51 years, John W. Sr., March 18, 2002; an infant 
  sister; and sister, Betty Shaffer. Survived by children, Ruth A., married to 
  Marvin Cameron, New Cumberland; John W. Jr. "Jack," married to Donna Mayak, 
  Ralphton; and Barbara D., married to James Crowder, Johnstown; seven 
  grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. Sister of Virgil, Laurel View 
  Village; Virginia Gindlesperger, Soap Hollow; Beatrice Eash, Laurel View 
  Village; Almeda Lohr and Martha Beener, both of Jenner Township; and Franklin, 
  married to Mona Jones, Somerset Pike.  A graduate of Conemaugh Township Area 
  High School, Davidsville, and member of the Benscreek Evangelical Lutheran 
  Church, Somerset Pike.  Viewing from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the 
  Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Davidsville, where service will be 
  held at 11 a.m. Thursday. Larry C. Hoover, pastor, officiating.  Interment, 
  Grandview Cemetery.
