Dies Suddenly While At Work

  Lloyd Uphold, 63, of Summit Township, died suddenly today (Thursday) from a 
heart attack, while cutting prop timber on the hillside opposite Garrett.
  Mr. Uphold has had several previous heart attacks and was recently under the 
care of a doctor.  His son Walter was working nearby and went to his father's 
aid when he collapsed.  The body was viewed by Coroner F. E. Sass of Boswell, 
after which it was taken to the W. C. Price & Son mortuary to prepare for 
burial.
  Mr. Uphold is survived by his wife, Sadie (Brown) Uphold and two sons, Charles 
C., of R.D. 1, Meyersdale, and Walter at home.  Funeral services will be 
conducted at the home, near Fritz's church, Monday afternoon and interment will 
be made in the Hostetler cemetery in Greenville Township, under the direction of 
W. C. Price & Son, local morticians.
