    Charles Sheldon Uphouse, 85, Suffield, Ohio, died Sept. 27, 1994. 
  Born in Somerset County.  Preceded in death by a daughter, Hazel
  Rininger, and a son Charles Robert Uphouse.  He is survived by his
  wife, Pearl (Conn) Uphouse; a daughter Tillie (Bud) Cremeans of
  Safford, Ariz.; Shirley (Conrad) Jack of Suffield, Ohio, and
  grandsons: Charles, (Linda) Cremeans, Terry (Debbie) Jack, Tim
  (Marie) Jack, Robert (Gayle) Rininger, Randy (Celeste) Rininger and
  William (LaChelle) Rininger.  Also 12 great-grandchildren and one
  brother, Warren Uphouse of Florida.  He was a retired employee of
  Akron University with 20 years service.  Member of Suffield
  Fellowship Church.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Friday in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will
  be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Rev. John Buchko officiating. 
  Interment, Middlecreek Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may
  be made to the American Cancer society.
