  WOODROW UPHOUSE
  
    Woodrow (Woody) Uphouse, 64, of Somerset RD 7, died August 27,
  1977, at Somerset Community Hospital.  Born June 2, 1913, in
  Middlecreek Township, he was the son of the late John F. and Susan
  (Peck) Uphouse.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter in infancy, and
  a sister, Iva.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Rosalie Grove, and the
  following children: John F., Berlin; Mrs. Deanna Barndt and Mrs. Mary
  Jane Baer, Friedens RD 2; Mrs. Beverly Sleasman, Somerset RD 4;
  Robert, Columbus, Ohio; James, Columbia, Md.; Mrs. Bonita Morelli,
  Somerset; and Don and Jay, at home; and 22 grandchildren.
    He was a brother of Charles Sheldon, Mogadora, Ohio; Hirem,
  Findleyville; Albert E., Akron, Ohio; and Earl Warren, Altamonte
  Springs, Fla.
    He was a member of the Middlecreek Church of the Brethren, F.O.E.
  of Somerset, Tall Pines Hunting Camp, and he was a retired Somerset
  businessmen.
    Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at the Wilbur D.
  Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Theodore Cole officiating.  Interment,
  Somerset County Memorial Park.
