Born April 28, 1924, in Listie. Son of Henry and Mary Veda (Newcomer) Urban. Preceded in death by parents; sons: Bernard Wayne Urban and Timothy Allen Urban; brother, Bernard Wayne Urban. Survived by wife, the former Mary Etta Forney, to whom married 53 years, and these children: Mrs. N. William (Cheryl Lee) Lohr, Meyersdale RD 3; Mrs. Michael J. (Barbara Jo) Dobrosky, Jackson, Miss; Mrs. Gerald G. (Virginia Ann) Chabol, Somerset; Gregory Scott Urban, Listie; daughter-in-Law, Renee (Pritts) Urban, Listie. Grandchildren: Mrs. Todd (Stacey) Thomas, Mrs. Douglas (Karin) Schafer, Rick Chabol, married to the former Karen Bahorich; Randy Chabol and Lacey Urban. Also great-grandchildren: Alyssa and Tyler Thomas. Brother of Marshall B. Urban, Friedens RD 1; Henry Z. Urban, Listie; William A. Urban, Santa Ana, Calif. 1943 graduate of Somerset Township High School. U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Route driver for the former I.X.L. Creamery for 20 years. Retired in 1969 as a salesman for Field Enterprises Education Corp. Member of Listie Grace Brethren Church and VFW Post 554, Somerset. Charter member of Listie Volunteer Fire Company and Somerset County Old Timers Baseball Association. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev.
