CALVIN VALENTINE

  Calvin Valentine, 67, died at his home, Salisbury St., Tuesday afternoon 
following a long illness.  He was born July 18, 1878, a son of the late William 
Valentine and Mrs. Emma Valentine.  He is survived by his mother and 10 children 
- John, Dayton, O.; Mrs. Carrie Harding, Detroit, Mich.; Ray, Tire Hill; Harry, 
at home; Oscar, Stoystown; Mrs. Arthur Brown, Meyersdale; Mrs. Tony Patsy, 
Meyersdale; Mrs. Charles Burley, McKeesport; Miss Thelma Valentine, Baltimore, 
Md.; Mrs. Spurgeon Romesberg, Garrett.  There are also a number of grandchildren 
surviving.
  Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the home of 
Mrs. Martha Glantzer, High St., in charge of Rev. H. K. Hilner.  Interment will 
be made in Union Cemetery, under the direction of R. Reich & Son.
