  VALENTINE
  
  Edna Valentine, 72, Bedford RD 3, formerly of Johnstown and Somerset, died
  Jan. 3, 1983, in Somerset.  Born Nov. 2, 1910, in Somerset, daughter of
  John and Elizabeth (Peterson) Murray.  She was preceded in death by her
  parents; stepson, James R.  Survived by husband, Charles Phillip (Phil);
  daughter, B. J., wife of William E. Berkley of Somerset; two grandchildren,
  Douglas Berkley, Somerset, and Mrs. Jill McNamara, Lutherville, Md.; two
  great-grandchildren, Douglas Jr. and Bradley.  There will be no viewing or
  visitation of friends.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
  Children's Aid Society of Somerset.  Funeral services will be conducted at
  11 a.m. Thursday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Davidsville. 
  Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery, Johnstown.
