VANAMAN Mrs. John C. Vanaman died suddenly at her home, Sunday evening May 25. She was the daughter of Fred and Anna (Phillippi) Kregar and was born near Confluence March 3, 1882, and lived most of her life in this vicinity. A few years ago she and her husband moved to Warrendale, where she was the matron of the Thornhill Boys Industrial School. Surviving are her husband, a son, John, of Confluence R.D.; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Berg, Indian Head, and six grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home in Indian Head, Rev. Martin Bell, of the Church of God officiating. Burial was made in the Mt. Nebo cemetery.
