  VANANDE
  
  Susan C. Vanande, 79, of North Side, Pittsburgh, formerly of Somerset, died
  August 25 in Pittsburgh.  She was born in Somerset June 19, 1893, a daughter
  of the late George and Annie Countryman Ringler.  She was also preceded in
  death by two sisters, a brother and her husband Rathe.  She is survived by
  a brother, Robert Ringler of Somerset; four nieces, Mrs. Arthur Friedline
  of Somerset RD 5; Mrs. Ethel Ryan of Somerset; Mrs. Dorsie Harkcom of
  Somerset RD 1; Mrs. Helen Thompson of Johnstown; and a nephew, Larry
  Ringler of Washington, D.C.  Friends are being received in the Robert H.
  Halverson Funeral Home where services will be conducted today at 2 p.m. by 
  the Rev. H. James Meyers.  Interment will be in Walker Cemetery, Shanksville.
