  VanDIVENDER
  
  Robert Ivan VanDivender of Johnstown died Nov. 7, 1988, at Windber
  Hospital.  Born June 21, 1904, in Clearfield County, son of the late
  Yarnald and Mary Ann (Keil) VanDivender.  Preceded in death by brother,
  Vernon, and sister, Mrs. Jane Blum.  Survived by widow, the former Ethel
  May; sons: Robert, married to former Adele Hein, Richmond, Va.; and
  William, married to former Joyce Albert, Knoxville, Tenn.; and a daughter,
  Mrs. Betty Hathcock, Chesapeake, Va; also 10 grandchildren and 5
  great-grandchildren.  Death ends marriage union of 64 years.  Former owner
  and operator of VanDivender Garage, corner of South Avenue and Demuth
  Street.  Life member of Connumach Lions Club, Davidsville, Geistown
  Volunteer Ambulance Association and Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, where
  funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Ronald
  B. Reed officiating.  Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery.  Friends will be
  received 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the R. Owen Ketterer Funeral
  Home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Calvary
  Lutheran Church.
