  Mary Margaret Vaneer, 79, Berlin RD 1, formerly of Somerset, died April 17,
  1987, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lewis Ankney, Berlin RD 1.  She was
  born July 24, 1907, in Kantner, a daughter of the late Thomas and Hattie
  Ann (Rininger) Adams.  Preceded in death by her husband, Frank "Babe"
  Vaneer, Sept. 28, 1979; one sister, Mrs. Madeline Dickey; and two brothers,
  William and Richard Adams.  Survived by a daughter, Ray Ellen, wife of Lewis
  Ankney, Berlin RD 1; four grandchildren: E. Renee, Andrew L., and Tyler V.,
  all of Brotherton; and Eric R. Ankney, Glencoe; one great-granddaughter,
  Ann; one step-great-granddaughter, Renate Berkebile; one sister, Alice,
  wife of Edward Berkey, Hooversville; and two brothers, Thomas C. Adams,
  Somerset; and Francis L. Adams, San Obispo, Calif. She was a member of St.
  Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Somerset; and a graduate of Mt. Aloysius
  College.  Friends will be received from 1-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday in Robert
  Halverson Funeral Home where Wake service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. 
  Funeral mass 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Peter's Church with Monsignor Samuel
  Tomaselli officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
