  Rose A. Varchetti, 83, Patriot Manor, Somerset, formerly of Berlin, died Aug.
  7, 2005, at Somerset Hospital. Born July 28, 1922, in Clearfield, daughter of
  Louis and Marie (Pelacetta) Pontillo. Preceded in death by parents; husband,
  Joseph; daughter, Rosalie Flick; brothers, Jim and Frank Pontillo and sister,
  Flossie Chellemi. Survived by children, Larry, married to the former Sabina
  McAfee, Indianapolis; Susan, married to Francis Fochtman, Greensburg; and
  Samuel, married to the former Shirley Fochtman, Berlin; son-in-law, Charles
  Flick, Berlin; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Sister of
  Mel, Carmen and Joseph Pontillo and Ann Jones. Member of St. Gregory's Catholic
  Church, Macdonaldton. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 10 a.m.
  Thursday. The Rev. James M. Dugan officiating. Committal Somerset County
  Memorial Park.
