  VASOS
  
  Andrew Vasos, 79, of Central City RD 1, died July 23, 1996, at
  home.  He was horn May 11, 1917, in Kentucky, son of Joseph and Julia
  (Kovach) Vasos.  Preceded in death by parents; son, Ronald Andrew;
  brothers, Joseph, John and Steve; and sister, Julia Streano. 
  Survived by his wife of 55 years, the former Anna Grace McClellan,
  and these children: Mona L., widow of Gerlando Pennica, Long Island,
  N.Y., and Wendy A., married to Shannon Phillips of Windber; also 14
  grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  He was a retired coal
  miner.  Member of UMWA Local 6410, serving as financial secretary for
  a number of years.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be
  held at 11 a.m. Monday, Mr. Albert Kammerer officiating.  Interment,
  Somerset County Memorial Park.
