  VEIL
  
  Madeline C. Veil, 75, Berlin RD 1, died Aug. 11, 1989, in her home. 
  Born June 11, 1914, in Cambria County, daughter of the late Frank and
  Carrie (Cooney) Hoover.  Preceded in death by parents, husband, Henry
  P. Veil, three brothers and three sisters.  Survived by three
  children: Mrs. Beverly Bruening, Sipesville; Henry C., Ramsey, N.J.;
  and Robert J., Indian Lake; five grandchildren, two
  great-grandchildren and these brothers and sisters: Paul Hoover,
  Altoona; Charles Hoover, Patton; Mrs. Violet Pennington and Mrs.
  Caroline Sadler, both of Arcadia; and Mary Agnes Rating, Loretto. 
  Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Sunday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday
  in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where Wake service will be
  held Monday at 8:30 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held
  Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Somerset,
  with Monsignor Samuel Tomaselli officiating.  Interment, Somerset
  County Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to
  Somerset Hospice or the American Cancer Society in Somerset.
