  Mary Veskosky, 77, House 50, 5th Street, Acosta, died unexpectedly
  Sept. 5, 1989, at home.  Born Nov. 13, 1911, in Brothersvalley
  Township, daughter of Charles and Anna (Krevda) Hummel.  Preceded in
  death by parents, husband Frank, died Oct. 21, 1972, and brothers
  George, John, Andrew and Michael.  Survived by sons Victor C.,
  married to the former Elizabeth Shull, Espyville RD 1, and Theodore
  F., married to the former Donna Croyle, Hollywood, Fla.; three
  grandchildren: Vicki Ann, Kristine and Brian.  Sister of Helen Pyle
  and Ann Pyle, both of Berlin RD 1, and Frank Hummel, Meyersdale. 
  Member of St. John's Catholic Church, Acosta.  Operated former
  Veskosky's Store, Acosta, for approximately 15 years.  Friends
  received 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman
  Funeral Home, Main St., Boswell, where wake service is 7:30 p.m.
  Thursday.  Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Friday at St. John's
  Church, with Father Benjamin Dykas officiating.  Interment, Somerset
  County Memorial Park.
