  VIEREGGE
  
  Shane Ray Vieregge, 17, Berlin RD 1, died Aug. 2, 1990, at Children's
  Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born Sept. 24, 1972, in Somerset, son of Drs.
  Jerry and Adeline (Rhoads) Vieregge, Berlin RD 1.  Preceded in death
  by maternal grandparents, Harry and Katherine (Wyand) Rhoads, and
  paternal grandfather, Raymond H. Vieregge.  Survived by parents;
  sister, Kathy, at home; niece, Elizabeth, and paternal grandmother,
  Charlesa Vieregge, Colorado Springs, Colo.  Member of Trinity United
  Church of Christ, Berlin, where he was in the youth group and was a
  youth usher.  Student at Shanksville-Stonycreek High School.  An
  Eagle Scout with Troop 151, Shanksville.  Brotherhood member of Order
  of Arrow; served on the executive council of Order of Arrow.  Also a
  recipient of God and Country Award.  Family will receive friends from
  7-9 p.m. Saturday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral
  Home, Berlin.  Viewing from 9 a.m. until services at 10 a.m. Monday
  at Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin, Rev. Carl W. Schwarm
  officiating.  Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.  Instead of
  flowers, at Shane's request, contributions should be made to Roaring
  Run Scout Camp, c/o Penn's Wood Council, Boy Scouts of America, 501
  15th Street, Windber, Pa., 15963.
