Born March 31, 1926 in Johnstown. Son of Stanko and Kathryn (Vidich) Villa. Preceded in death by parents, son Clay "Dude," and brothers Marko, Mike, Lucky, Stanley and Nick. Survived by daughters, Joylyn married to Alex Nicoletti, Jennerstown, Diana married to Clifford Thomas, Johnstown, Susan married to Scott Berkebile, Johnstown, and Sally, married to Jeffrey Kimmick, Boswell. Grandchildren, Ann, Todd, Jason, Michelle, Terri, Christopher, Casey, Adam, and Bryan. Five great-grandchildren, brother Mitch of Portsmouth, Va., sister, Stella, married to Robert N. Itkulinec, Johnstown, and several nieces and nephews. Member of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, Johnstown; New Baltimore, Greater Ferndale and Paradise Valley Sportsmens Clubs, Hollsopple Post 8861 VFW, Jerome Nest 556 Polish Falcons, and lifetime member of Jerome Post 882 American Legion. He was also a member of numerous other clubs and organizations. Army veteran of World War II, having served with the 42nd Infantry. Earned a Purple Heart and was discharged with honors. Retired employee of the former US Steel, Johnstown. He enjoyed hunting, being in the outdoors and spending time with his grandsons, other family and friends at his camp in New Baltimore. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Route 403 and Church Road, Davidsville, where Pomen will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday. Prayer service at the funeral home 10 a.m. Monday followed by funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Nicholas Church. Very Rev. Dr. Nedeljko Grgurevich. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. Graveside military rite by Menoher Post 155 VFW Ritual Team.
