Born Aug. 21, 1921, in Johnstown, son of Stanko and Kathryn Villa. Preceded in death by parents, and brothers, Mark, Mike and Lucky. Survived by wife, former Ruth Trachok; daughter, Debra, wife of Gerald DeBiase, Windber, and granddaughters, Heather and Beth. Brother of Nick, Johnstown RD 7; Dewey, Jerome; Mitch, Portsmouth, Va., and Stella, wife of Robert Nitkulinec, Johnstown. Member of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, St. Clair Road, Westmont; Jerome Post 802, American Legion, where he served as chaplain for 23 years; Jenner Rod and Gun Club; Jerome Nest 556, Polish Falcons of America; Somerset County Oldtimers Baseball Association; SOAR; USWA; Conemaugh Township Democratic Club, and Retired Men's Club of Johnstown. Army veteran of World War II. Retired employee of former Johnstown Works, U.S. Steel Corp. Friends were received Sunday and will be received until noon Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main St., Boswell, where prayer service will be held followed by funeral service at 1 p.m. at St. Nicholas Church, the Very Rev.
