Andrew Vinisky Jr., 70, formerly of Boswell, died unexpectedly Oct. 4, 2008, at 
Xcela Health Frick Community Hospital, Mount Pleasant. Born Jan. 21, 1938, in 
Boswell, the son of Andrew Sr. and Mary (Jodlowsky) Vinisky. Preceded in death 
by parents; sisters, Mary Ann Stutzman and husband, Robert, Pauline Lepley and 
husband, Paul; and brother, Joseph. Survived by wife of almost 48 years, the 
former Mary B. Boyd, whom he married Oct. 8, 1960; sons, Steven Andrew, married 
to Susan Dickerson, Alexandria, Va.; and Scott A., married to Teresa Warnick, 
Jeannette; grandchildren, Brady, Abbey, Colby and Riley. A 1955 graduate of the 
former JBJ Joint Schools, Boswell, where he participated in wrestling. Served in 
the U.S. Army. Retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a former member of 
St. Andrew Evangelical Lutheran Church, Boswell. Viewing from 6 to 9 p.m. 
Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell, 
where service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Larry C. Hoover of- 
ficiating. Interment, Lutheran Cemetery, Jennerstown. Memorials to American 
Heart and Stroke Association, 400 Luray Ave., Johnstown, PA 15904 or Humane 
Society of Somerset County, P.O. Box 182, Somerset, PA 15501, would be
